COVID - 19 Club Update 1
Primary actions.
Members Only
Diary Event

On behalf of the Management Board of the Club, we write with an update regarding the impacts of the Prime Minister’s announcements this week in relation to Coronavirus.
Effective forthwith, the following activities are cancelled:
Mothering Sunday lunch at the Club on 22nd March
PapaJam music evening scheduled for 27th March
Tuesday Socials as an organised activity
All inter-club matches.
At present, our own club competitions will continue, as will the ability to play on the course generally. We do however feel that for the benefit of all members, and with due regard to our membership demographics, we should encourage social distancing – i.e. not congregate together before or after playing. This is not a step taken lightly, but we each have a responsibility to fellow members and our staff, alike, in this regard.
We are monitoring the advice and Government proclamations daily and will issue a further update this Friday 20th March, but we all need to recognise that there is a risk that the Clubhouse will have to be closed in the near future, if the advice/directive from the Government so dictates, making it mandatory.
Rest assured that, in the event of this becoming reality, Contingency Plans will be put in place (and are already being drafted) to enable the Club to weather the storm so to speak.
Thank you for your cooperation
Mike Foster, President Tony Peacock, Treasurer
